30OCT12~
another tuesday. another day. another day of existence. another reason to live another glorious day. i didnt actually have a particular motive to type up a new post but i guess its what i call procrastination. however, i believe that it is pointless to post a blog if there is no particular topic to talk about because you might as well just go bury yourself underneath a blanket.
so for the past few days, i have been the usual on the outside but internally, there are still some questions unanswered.
almost everyday, i have been playing this online facebook game, 8 Ball Pool and its a multiplayer game so i play it with my dear friend, henry. however, today was different to every other time we have played the game. it seemed to be more amusing and i guess today, luck was on me. if i played pool in real life, i rarely win but i still enjoy playing it because it is really a time where you hang out with a large group and chill out at pool. its like a time where everyone meets once in a while. in my case, i think it is a very fortunate moment for all of us as friends to gather. so today, when henry and i played online pool, we discovered something. there was a logic to the game. whoever is solids, on most occassions, they will win. i can bet you on that. and when you see that the stripes are winning and they have to sink in the black ball, they ''magically'' miss or either both the white and black ball sinks. annnnnnnnnd..everytime we play, as expected, there were alot of WTF comments whenever one doesn't sink in their ball or when they lose.
so here i wanted to share a screen shot of our game so you'd be able to visualise what im saying as well:-

#27OCT12~ update~creativity~adoration
Another weekend has arrived again. i hate it. because after every week, i reflect and think 'what did i do this week'. counting the days i actually dedicated the time to study for my upcoming exams, it adds up to probably 6.5. thats 6.5 hours not including any lectures. i am quite disappointed but what can i do but .. blog about it? :)
notably, it has been hot for the last few days and its unsurprising. i mean, it is Queensland after all. However, the weather today isn't too bad with a few ghastly winds and also because i am staying at home, for once. no work to go to!
as an update to what i have been up to... whether you're interested or not, i shall continue.
this week is week 13 and indeed, it is the final teaching week of the uni semester and it was all about exam hints and revision. so besides uni, i had work on wednesday night which awfully dreading!
the following day, i was invited by the course convenor of this particular course, Employment Relations, to attend a short afternoon tea session with other fellow students. of course, it wasnt all the students who enrolled for this course was invited. only 12/483 students were selected to have this wonderful afternoon break. why? well, i guess it all starts from this very popular quote, 'no pain, no gain'. It was for students who achieved a High Distinction in Employment Relations. i must admit, i have worked particularly hard for it to be achieving such high results for my assessments so relating back to the quote, without the hard work i have put in, no special invitation from the course convenor. So what did we do? well, the course convenor invited us to a cafe that was located at the university and each one of us were shouted a drink and nibbles. i was surprised and felt kind of bad for having a course convenor who i felt like i was a stranger to, to be shouting me beverages and so i ordered a latte. it is my most favourable drink so i thought why not treat myself to a latte. it was great. the texture was incredibly smooth. goddamnit, couldnt get enough of it! anyway... we had a chill session where we talked about topics that were related to the course and our experiences in regards to employment. everyone had something to share so i was like trying to dig up some stories and experiences from where i work. it wasnt too bad. i made some new friends and learnt about everyones culture. it was definitely a worthwhile invite.
the next day (friday 26th), it was an incredibly hot steamy day. it was 33 degrees i heard but i reckon it was just beyond that! i had an early tutorial and i woke up a tad late for my bus. so i immediately jumped out of bed rushing to get ready and you can picture the rest of my rushed morning. by the time i finally got out of the house, i only had 10 mins till my bus came and usually it takes me 15 mins to walk to that bus stop. with my long speedy legs, i arrived there within 7 minutes. i was speed walking so fast to the point you couldnt figure out whether i was jogging or speed walking. but anyway, when i got to the bus stop.... i was huffing and puffing and finding shade to chill until the bus came. i stood there and waited and waited and waited. can you believe it?! IT WAS LATE T_T like really!?!? after i broke the record of arriving there within 7 minutes, it was late. by the time the stupid bus came, it was already 8:35am and it was 13 minutes late. i was kinda annoyed that i didnt even say HI to the bus driver when he said HI. oh wells. so blahh blahh...on my way to uni with the comfort of a weak aircon. so that was my morning adventure.
In the afternoon on the same day, it was still hot. i couldnt help it but text shelly 'i want ice cream'. so yep, we went and got desserts along with Tai. We went to Fusion Cafe in Robertson because from memory, their desserts are so godlike! I had Grass Jelly with condensed milk with green tea icecream. i thought one scoop of ice cream was enough considering how much sugar it has but this shelly, had grass jelly with condensed milk WITH vanilla icecream WITH green tea icecream WITH red beans. the counter chick got so confused by her order even and we spent a good 15 minutes trying to explain to her the correct order. we were not satisfied with the service but who cares, they really have good desserts! oh and i forgot to mention, tai got some chicken and rice thing. the food was served quite quick and we immediately gulped down our dishes. well we didnt really gulp... anyway, so we spent a good hour and a bit hanging out and eating before i had a lecture at 6pm. yep, it sucks to have classes on a friday night however, that will be the last for this semester! :) yep, so shelly drove me to uni. it will certainly be a month and a bit before i reunite with most of the 'people i know of'.
and today? today, i woke up at 8am to do the laundry because dad doesnt know how to do the laundry which makes me lol a bit but yeah... i was bored, knowing that i had to study. it was kind of my goal for today but i think i'll just let it go :) and so i was bored... and guess what i did.
THIS:
the original picture was photographed by myself. the editing and photoshop was also completed by myself. what led me this sort of creativity? well, i dont photoshop or edit pictures because i am just that lazy and natural is good. well it really was because it related to 2 dreams i have had. one was some time ago and the other was last night. well i'll tell you guys a very short story and here it goes:-
this guy and girl. same age. got together. dated. girls parents disliked it. guys parents were neutral. broke up. one formal event was going on. the both went and at that stage, they so called couple were not back together. until this very night. the guy leaned towards her and gave this girl a peck. she was astounded. why? - she thought. guy explained that she was 'the one'. girl was so happy because she had been hoping for this day to happen. the girl denied and said that there are heaps of other girls. the guy argued back and state once again that she was 'the one'. girl threw herself on her and the typical actions happen. the guy walked the girl, hand in hand, towards where his father was sitting and when they got there, the guy didnt speak. the father understood (since they were holding hands) and the father accepted that reality. the girl's parents happen to randomly pop up and gave their daughter a deadly evil stare. BOOOM! the end.
this other story i wanted to share goes very similar like the one just told:-
this guy. this girl. same age. got together. dated. girls parents disliked it. guys parents were neutral. broke up. they went to this religious place where they met each other again after a long period of time. the girl was playing with the younger children who like the girl very much. the guy decided to join and soon they were all playing happily. the guy talked to the girl about their previous relationship. the girl was being a good daughter and denied that it cant happen again because she knew her parents would dislike it so much. the guy denied and said nothing else mattered and jumped for her and gave her a peck. the girl gave in for a bit. then retracted back to her normal self ... but what happened next? BOOM! the end - mystery is left for the future to discover.
So, those are my 2 stories i wanted to share. it sounds cliche but dreams are dreams. so back to the photo, that was a quote from Winnie The Pooh, a character i love very much since i was a child and until now, i adore him. the quote really relates to me and i cant express it enough through a picture, words or action. yet, the future is left for itself to uncover the real truth.
I shall leave it to here and i will get back as soon as possible after i have satisfied myself with the study i plan to do.
PS: i am devastated because i dont have the camera to take pictures for a while because my mum took it with her overseas. and my phone has crap picture quality however, i try to post one picture for every new post. && perhaps share your views in the comments? :)
again, i really appreciate the time the readers took to read this. ty

#22OCT12~
dear people reading this,
how you may have stumbled across my updated post, i appreciate it either way. however, this blog's purpose is to keep a track of my life events and a place for me to express my feelings and all.
lets get started. you may have realised that there are all these punctuation and grammar problems here but i am feeling very lazy at the moment.
i am currently sitting at a study desk on level 2 at uni library staring out at a view of nature, unsurprisingly.
so what has everyone been up to? well ive got my own story to tell.
work...work...sleep..work. uni. mmm sounds about right however i'd like to share what i had for afternoon tea with my dad at Cafe Mi.
Indeed, that is my afternoon snack. HK style milk tea is probably one of my favourite drink because tea that is brewed has a really strong 'tea' taste and how it gives you that wonderful bitter tea taste. and milk tea is just heavenly soothing. next to my cup of HK style milk tea is the SPAM ham and egg sandwich. i love spam ham so much and it mixes in with egg cooked in anyway so perfectly. they're made for one another, really. It was so good and i couldnt get enough out of it!
To be honest, i dont know why dad took me to eat afternoon snack because he dislikes eating out and think restaurant food is expensive, unhealthy etc but he picked me up from work on Saturday and was like, lets go eat afternoon tea. astounded as i was, i followed him. and also because the relationship between my dad and i arent that intimate, i was more astounded. however, it was a great time and all and i hope in the near future, we'd be able to eat out and i guess, have a family bonding time :)
What i also cant get enough out of is this wonderfully sung music peace: Be Your Everything - Boys Like Girls
so that's the artistic highlight for the past week.
hmm, whats next, oh yep. so i mentioned previously that i am at the library now. well prior to that i had a 8am lecture. i was very attentive in that lecture only because it was the revision lecture and usually the lecturer gives out some hints for the finals. so indeed, i focussed so hard that i thought i was going to reward my deadly cravings which was FISH AND CHIPS.
so after my lecture, i immediately made my way down to the food place and bought fish and chips. it wasnt that expensive, $6, considering i was satisfying my cravings and stomach so thats alright. so it was 10am when i have finally found a study desk. i was like so excited so i took a picture of my fish and chips meal :)
hmm, what else do i have left to share with you all?!
i know this is a relatively long post but i missed you all so much so i thought you guys should just keep up with my life for the sake of it hehe
oh yeah, do you like these stickers?
These stickers glow in the dark really well. its from the cartoon called Hotel Transylvania. i havent watched it yet, i probably wont get to anytime soon but i heard it was pretty hilarious. i dont know. the last movie i watched was Bait. It was about shark attacks and omg, long story but getting back to the point of these cool glow in the dark stickers. one night, i was heading to bed right..so i turned off the lights and all. jumped into my bed and from the corner of my eye, i saw something light up. i literally just dived through and hid underneath my blanket. i was scared myself. my heart was racing, thinking, did i just see a ghost or something. i am not being dramatic here. it was like a trauma! then i realised.....those glow in the dark stickers. so i got out of my bed and turned on the lights to examine them. i was kind of fascinated, not saying ive never seen glow in the dark stickers before but they just shone so bright!!
but lastly, i would like to share to you all, I AM CRAVING FOR NACHOS MELTED WITH CHEESE AND CREAMY CORN SOUP.

It is just soooooooo good, in my opinion. and thanks to henry, who introduced me to this song, i am insanley in love with it!
the lyrics and the instrumental music behind it just blends in so well.
you should all check it !

Another unproductive afternoon.
Good Afternoon all. I am back again with another blog post because it is kind of getting addictive and I do want to try keep posting for you all who read it! :)
My day has unsurprisingly been wasted once again because I have simply been youtubing and was only focused for like half an hour at the very most! However, I call that an achievement alright. I should really get studying because I have 3 separate assessment items held next week and I am certainly not looking forward. One is an oral worth 20% and the rest are just quizzes that I have to study for. I really need to get going don't I? =/
However, this blog isn't about me whinging about my poor efforts but to share to you guys that I had KFC at about....11pm last night. Yes, I do feel very fat and bloated after I ate it and considering I work there, it sounds kind of depressing. You would think I'd get sick and tired of the chicken and the smell but I really love eating chicken! That's all I can say.
I even took a photo for you's because it might be mouth-watering to you :)
The oil on it is simply fattening but oh wells. I haven't had KFC for at least a month now. Drumsticks are my favourite part of the chicken. It is just so gooooooood! Mouth-watering?
I was eating that piece of chicken whilst studying last night. It was some sort of motivation, really :P
That was really all I wanted to share today however I have a whole list left to go but that's alright, there's always tomorrow.
Toodles ♥

greetings, everyone! :)
To my dearest blog,
Oh how much I have missed you since the last time we came in
contact. I recall that it has been 1.5 years since I have blogged and I have
missed you badly enough to start posting a new blog for the world to view and
reflect.
Today's date is 17 October 2012 and personally, this special date has marked a special moment in my life however that will not be shared any further.
So today, I woke up at 10.30am. I was so tired and lazy to get up and maybe it was because I slept at 2am. So what what was I even doing up so late? Well, I have a legitimate reason alright. If I did not stay up that late, I would not be blogging right this very second and doing whatnot. Might I mention, the reason why I came back to blogging was because of Paul's little motivation to drive me to blog again, to give life to my very own blog after what seemed like a century.
You might think how does Paul and blog relate? Well it did. He started his new blog after a year or so with its purpose of uploading pictures with his new professional Sony camera in which he is a very dedicated and loving parent to. After viewing his most recent snapshots, I was motivated to start blogging. I wanted to start anew with my blog and let the world know I am alive.
So here it is. The first blog in years! I was thinking before I even started this post, 'What should I write about? I don't want to bore people about my life'. And so I decided to take a selfie. Oh my god. I have not taken a selfie for a while now and damn, I was even shy to look at my own face! I took numerous shots and I was thinking to myself, wow, I have grown up so much! I mean, look at my face....it's not that chubby anymore. Talking about that, there goes the first point about the benefits of blogging.
![]() |
Selfie- Yes, my fringe is up because it is so damn hot today! And because I slept so retarded, my fringe was not....'behaving well'. |
To be honest, I was even shy to upload a selfie! But now it's uploaded, enjoy :)
Must I congratulate myself for taking my time to blog finally as I have self-promised. In the near future, I will try to blog just so I have some sort of time to waste but yet also, to show you more on my life journey. Future posts will vary from poems I have written up by myself to photos.
Stay tuned and enjoy life :) Thanks for reading peoples.
